Graphic design on cropping an image in Photoshop

Background info

I decided to create a visual in Photoshop on how an image would look before cropping and then two examples of cropping that image.

Photoshop skills used

o Opened photo in Photoshop.
o Used the eyedropper tool to match some colors I wanted to use for my visual.
o Created a new background with a color from the image.
o Used layers to create the visual.
o Imported three images into the background
o Used the grid tool to move the images to where I wanted them. o Used the text tool to add two       different texts to the visual.
o Saved the image to use for my assignment and for my portfolio.

Design considerations

o I used contrast with the text colors as well as using two different contrasting fonts.

o I used repetition to add three images of the same size.
o I aligned the images to the left side and aligned the text to the bottom left of the image.
o I used proximity to group the two different fonts together in the same space as well as the three   images grouped together on the same side.
o I used a large script font and contrasted it with a sans serif font. I wanted an artistic look to one of the fonts and also wanted a font that was easy to read for the information for the visual.
o I used the Photoshop eyedropper tool to choose the fonts for the visual. I used contrasting colors that were part of the images I chose. I like the look of two contrasting colors of green and purple.
